Here are the new features that come with LiveCom 1.1
What’s New :
- Media Embedding : You can embed Images, Audio, Video, Youtube and Vimeo Videos
- Internationalization : The plugin is localizable. Plus, a French Translation will be bundled with the plugin from here on.
- ‘Load More Comments’ : Now only the latest 20 comments (the number is configurable) will be shown when the application bootstraps. If there are more comments, you can click on the ‘Load More’ link to show older comments. Comments in archived events will be paginated.
- Multiple Comments Pushing/Displaying is now configurable : You can now choose how multiple comments are ‘pushed’ (displayed) to the browser. Either one by one and with the chosen animation, or in bulk instantly.

Note : Facebook and Twitter autoposting support was dropped from this version in order to further enhance its user-experience. It should come in the next major update.

Requirements
- WordPress 3.3 and greater.
- PHP 5.2 and greater with sessions support enabled.
- Your web host must permit direct file operations using PHP functions (fopen/fwrite).
- Your WordPress MySQL user must have CREATE and DROP table privileges.
- The theme you use must properly register jQuery and jQuery-color that come with WordPress.

Caveats
Please ensure that you are aware of the following caveats before purchasing the plugin:
- The LiveCom backend relies heavily on javascript because it uses the AngularJS framework. So, for an optimal user-experience, you must use a modern browser and have javascript enabled on your browser in order to use the LiveCom admin application. This, however, does not concern your wordpress website’s frontend. LiveCom’s frontend is cross-browser compatible and gracefully degrades to the archive version of the template you choose when javascript is not supported on your visitors’ browsers.
- The LiveCom Templates will not use your theme’s color and styling scheme. Refer to the documentation for more information about using/creating LiveCom templates.
