Utilidades Radio

“Utilidades Radio” is a tool for your Wordpress site with which you can take advantage of a number of functions to include one or more players of Radio, such as Shoutcast or Icecast. You can also include a chat room and a section to search and request songs, which you can listen to for 30 to 90 seconds, depending on the song. This preview encourages the user to buy it in iTunes. The characteristics of each of the tools are mentioned below:
Music
- The results are obtained from iTunes® Music.
- People request the song directly from your site. The system notify you about the request via email.
- The system is compatible with iOS, Android, tablets and computers or laptops. Almost all modern browsers (Google Chrome, Safari, Firefox, etc.).
- Notifications: you are able to use an email for be notificated of a new request or use Boxcar. With boxcar you can enable live notifications to your iOS device, and you can have all the requests on one panel.
- Generally, the songs can be previewed 1:30 minutes, although some only allow 30 seconds.
Smartext
- Hide or show text on a certain date.
- Use javscript for live manipulation (optional).
- Show “Live on”, “Live” and “Off air”, with options for days.
Player
- There is no limit on the number of plays for a song.
- The title, the square icon, and the text are customizable in the player.
- The system is compatible with iOS, Android, tablets and computers or laptops. Almost all modern browsers (Google Chrome, Safari, Firefox, etc.).
- Works with Icecast and ShoutCast servers that serve MP3 or M4A (AAC) audio.
- You have a new option for let the player load the current song and the song artwork.
- Share the link of your player to Facebook or Twitter. Share on facebook include an flash player for embed on Facebook (beta).
Chat
- There is one single room.
- You can empty the chat from the admin panel.
- The system is compatible with iOS, Android, tablets and desktop computers or laptops. Almost all modern browsers (Google Chrome, Safari, Firefox, etc.).
The functions don’t have a fixed design (except for the player). The design is taken from the theme installed. This will try to adapt the chat and music search features to the features already in your website.
For live information of stream, the stream URL need the next format:
Shout cast 1: http://server:port/;stream
Shout cast 2: http://server:port/;stream/sid
Ice cast: http://server:port/mount
Languages: English, Spanish, French, Italian and German.
